Second Dressed opened November 2006. Store owners, Dorie and Sara Harned, wanted to bring a quality clothing resale store to North Portland. 
The mother/daughter team has lived in North Portland for over two decades. As a mother of five on a tight budget, finding affordable resale shops was a challenge for Dorie. In 2003, she decided to educate herself about starting and managing a business. Three short years later, Second Dressed became a reality! After volunteering at the store for several months, Sara joined as a partner in 2007. In January 2008, the store closed briefly for remodeling. We expanded our selection to include toys, gifts and more! Customers are often surprised at our selection and quality. Every item has been cleaned for your convenience and safety.
